Service Description
Please Read Before Booking Our Dog Nail Clipping service includes nail trimming and filing to help keep your pet’s nails smooth, comfortable, and at a manageable length. Each nail will be shortened only as far as the quick—the sensitive tissue containing blood vessels and nerves—safely allows. Cutting beyond the quick can cause pain and bleeding, so we cannot guarantee that overgrown nails will become short during a single appointment. As nails grow longer, the quick may extend farther into the nail. Overgrown nails may require several appointments, generally scheduled every three to four weeks, to gradually encourage the quick to recede and safely achieve a shorter length. Although every precaution is taken, an overgrown or difficult-to-see quick may occasionally be nicked—particularly in dark nails or if a pet moves suddenly. If this occurs, bleeding will be addressed immediately with an appropriate clotting product. The final nail length will depend on your pet’s individual quick placement and nail condition. Pricing may vary based on your pet’s size, temperament, nail condition, and the level of handling required. Additional charges may apply for special handling or behavioral challenges.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, No-Show & Late Arrival Policy We understand that unexpected situations happen and appointments may occasionally need to be changed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. This allows us time to offer the appointment to another client. Because we are a small business and reserve dedicated time for each pet, late cancellations and missed appointments leave an opening that may be difficult to fill. After an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $25 booking deposit may be required before scheduling another appointment. The deposit will be applied toward the cost of your pet’s grooming service. If the rescheduled appointment is missed, cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or rescheduled without sufficient notice, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book again. Clients arriving 30 minutes or more late may need to reschedule because there may no longer be enough time to safely complete the service. When this occurs, it will be treated as a missed appointment, and the $25 booking-deposit policy may apply. Deposits are nonrefundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. We understand that genuine emergencies occur and may make exceptions at management’s discretion. Thank you for respecting our time and helping us provide dependable service to every client.
