Service Description
Please Read Before Booking Our Non-Anesthetic Tooth-Cleaning service removes accessible plaque and calculus from the visible surfaces of the teeth while your pet remains awake. A sterile ultrasonic scaler and appropriate dental instruments are used, and an additional trained handler assists with safe, gentle positioning. This service: Is intended only for calm, cooperative pets with generally healthy mouths Focuses on accessible tooth surfaces above the gumline Does not include anesthesia, dental X-rays, a comprehensive periodontal examination, diagnosis, extractions, or treatment of dental disease Is not a replacement for professional veterinary dentistry performed under anesthesia Prices start at $200 for small, cooperative pets with healthy mouths and light-to-moderate buildup. Final pricing depends on the pet’s size, amount of accessible buildup, cooperation, and time required and may be as high as $300, subject to evaluation and owner approval. Before beginning, we will perform a limited visual screening to determine whether the pet appears suitable for the service. This screening is not a veterinary examination or diagnosis. The service will not be performed—or will be stopped—if the pet shows excessive fear, stress, aggression, breathing difficulty, pain, unsafe movement, oral bleeding, loose or fractured teeth, severe gum inflammation, heavy calculus, or signs suggesting periodontal or other oral disease. In those situations, the owner will be referred to a licensed veterinarian. Complete calculus removal cannot be guaranteed, particularly beneath the gumline or on surfaces that cannot be safely accessed while the pet is awake. Hidden dental disease may still be present even when the visible teeth appear cleaner.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, No-Show & Late Arrival Policy We understand that unexpected situations happen and appointments may occasionally need to be changed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. This allows us time to offer the appointment to another client. Because we are a small business and reserve dedicated time for each pet, late cancellations and missed appointments leave an opening that may be difficult to fill. After an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $25 booking deposit may be required before scheduling another appointment. The deposit will be applied toward the cost of your pet’s grooming service. If the rescheduled appointment is missed, cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or rescheduled without sufficient notice, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book again. Clients arriving 30 minutes or more late may need to reschedule because there may no longer be enough time to safely complete the service. When this occurs, it will be treated as a missed appointment, and the $25 booking-deposit policy may apply. Deposits are nonrefundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. We understand that genuine emergencies occur and may make exceptions at management’s discretion. Thank you for respecting our time and helping us provide dependable service to every client.
