Service Description
Please Read Before Booking Our Hand-Scissor Styling service is an advanced grooming option for clients who want to maintain their pet’s coat longer than our attachment clipper combs allow. The coat is carefully shaped primarily by hand using scissors to create a customized, polished, and balanced style. This service includes: * Bath with professional shampoo and conditioner * Blow-dry and thorough brush-out * Nail trimming * Ear cleaning * External anal gland expression, when appropriate * Teeth brushing * Sanitary and paw-pad trimming * Full-body hand-scissor styling * Customized face, ear, leg, foot, and tail shaping * Detailed blending, finishing, and coat refinement Clippers may be used for the sanitary areas and paw pads; however, the visible body and furnishings are shaped primarily with scissors. This service requires more coat preparation, precision, and appointment time than an attachment-comb puppy cut or lamb cut. This is a high-maintenance style. Your pet’s coat must be free of significant tangles and matting, and regular brushing and combing at home are required to maintain the desired length. Routine professional grooming appointments are also strongly recommended. If the coat is tangled, matted, damaged, or unable to safely support the requested length, a shorter haircut or a different grooming service may be necessary for your pet’s comfort and safety. Final pricing is based on your pet’s breed, size, coat type, coat length and condition, temperament, requested style, and the time required to complete the service. Additional charges may apply for excessive coat, minor de-matting, special handling, behavioral challenges, intricate styling, or unusually extensive scissor work. An exact quote and estimated completion time will be provided after the pre-grooming consultation. We will contact you as soon as your pet is ready for pickup.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, No-Show & Late Arrival Policy We understand that unexpected situations happen and appointments may occasionally need to be changed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. This allows us time to offer the appointment to another client. Because we are a small business and reserve dedicated time for each pet, late cancellations and missed appointments leave an opening that may be difficult to fill. After an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $25 booking deposit may be required before scheduling another appointment. The deposit will be applied toward the cost of your pet’s grooming service. If the rescheduled appointment is missed, cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or rescheduled without sufficient notice, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book again. Clients arriving 30 minutes or more late may need to reschedule because there may no longer be enough time to safely complete the service. When this occurs, it will be treated as a missed appointment, and the $25 booking-deposit policy may apply. Deposits are nonrefundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. We understand that genuine emergencies occur and may make exceptions at management’s discretion. Thank you for respecting our time and helping us provide dependable service to every client.
